If you saw my previous post about installing KC HiLites LED Cyclone Rock Lights as blinkers then you might recall that I wanted to swap the surface mounts for flush mounts. I did not use them initially as I was scared of drilling the fenders. But I decided to go for it.
To avoid the hole saw from walking around I put a small piece of wood behind the hole, drilled a pilot hole and ran the drill in reverse to cut the new larger hole.
It was an easy install. The run the drill in reverse trick worked quite nicely. It looks a bit nicer than the previous surface mounts.
