I doubt I would have noticed how rusty the distributor cap clips on my baja were if I had not been taking pics of the fuel pump. But this is where we are and I can’t unsee it 🙂 The incredibly nice Scrivyscriv/Robert from the TheSamba hooked me up with a pair from his stash to replace mine. They were in good shape already, but a little time with ScotchBrite, the Dremel abrasive wheel (ScotchBrite), a quick shot of clear coat and look how much better it is. For a rainy cold day in Moab, this was a fine distraction. As an aside, those Dremel abrasive wheels are pricey, but they save so much time. It is worth it.
This is a pic of the old one.
The new one, look how shiny!
