After replacing my rear turn signals with KC Rock Lights the front indicators looked so… weak. Being seen is being safe, so I ordered another set of KC Cyclone V2 Rock Lights with yellow covers. I was able to use the surface mounts from when I first installed the rear lights to mount them on the front.
These little lights were from the parts store for a trailer I suspect. I’m sure they were ok when installed, but the sure seem dim to me.
First I just eyed it up to see if I would like the way it looked. Yup, I do..
The old lights were held on with 4 pounds of silicone. And some jankety wiring.
The new lights installed super easy. I mounted over the old holes and only drilled two new small holes for the surface mounts. They look good and are crazy bright. What more could you ask for.
I highly recommend this set up if you need to upgrade your blinkers. At $64 for the lights and $15 for the mounts they are not cheap, but honestly not that expensive either. Thinking of when I owned the Vanagon it seems cheap comparatively speaking.
