Still working on trying to determine my hot start issue. I replaced the coil with a Beru 12V made in Germany coil from Jbugs. It did kill me to not get the blue Bosch one, but German won out. It was a very easy swap and I guess I’ll find out if it works. I did fall to weakness and get a EMPI chrome cover for it, but it is not here yet. My coil is mounted to the side, I might move it over to the fan shroud one day.
The old Bosch one, no idea when it was installed.
The new one looks very nice.
