I just hit 50 miles without an engine issue. It may be safe to say the stalling issue was all due to the electric pump I put in. I removed it 50 miles ago and have not had an issue since. The hot start issue, which started all of this seems to be gone too. I believe the hot start issue came down to a bad distributor. I replaced a no-name electronic distributor with a Pertronix and now it starts right up even when driving on a 95° day. Today was the big test, I drove down in the BLM trails and let it get extremely hot. Then I shut it off and let it sit for a few minutes. It started up without issue. Sure, I did bring a backpack, water, headphones and my hiking boots in case I had to walk home 🙂 I didn’t need them!
