New Sew Fine Interior for the Baja

My interior is nice, but it is not Sew Fine nice. It may have been home made, it seemed like terry cloth to be honest. Once I installed the Sew Fine door cards, the old ones really seemed shabby. I ordered a kit from Sew Fine 5 weeks ago and it all arrived today. I got 60-64 style door cards with contrast stitching with matching sun visors. While I was at it I ordered clips, boots and weather barriers.

I will say the arm rests were missing the nuts and the vapor barrier was just a plastic bag. So don’t buy the vapor barrier. Other than that, the quality is really good.
A few pics of the old interior:

I tore out the old interior as step 1. Be sure to use a plastic panel tool, metal can scratch the old paint.

Next place all your boots in.

Then put in your clips, always face them out and use pliers to really get them all the way on.

Now get to installing. This was not quick, give yourself hours. Especially if you install the armrests upside down, like I did 🙄

I think it is nice, I wish the red stitching did not go over the window winder holes, but other than I think the quality is excellent. Check out https://sewfineproducts.com/. This is my second interior, I replaced my Vanagon interior with Sew Fine when I had it.
