Last year I had the local boat shop make me a light bar for front lights. It started to crack so I took it back to get fixed. No shade on the boat shop, they don’t do this normally and they upgraded it for free. They went from 3\/16″ plate to 1\/4″ plate and added gussets. It is nice to have the whole light gang back together again. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They made it so much nicer with the bigger plate and gussets. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How did we get here? This time instead of painting it I decided to use bed liner and I think it will resist scratching better. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I did buy longer bolts to attach the beam to the frame, but they are too long. I think the way to go is to buy two nuts to use as a cutting guide and take off 1\/8″ of an inch. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
