I just cleaned and oil my Uni filter and noticed it was time to clean the filter on the EMPI 40 HPMX(knockoff Weber IDF) carb. A little googling pointed me to K&N 3341 to fit weber carbs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You don’t need to know how to install these, it just goes on. But I did want to make this post so you know what K&N part to order for a EMPI HPMX\/Weber IDF. Also the Uni filter I had on I could not figure out the part number for. If you have not figured it out yet, this blog is just so I can look back on what I did a few months from now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And the moment you have been waiting for. The right K&N air filter for a VW Beetle aircooled using an EMPI HPMX \/ Weber IDF is a K&N 3341 . The correct Uni foam pre filter for an EMPI HPMX is a UNI 01-1102 or if you purchase from CB Performance it is 3290<\/a> .<\/p>\n\n\n\n
