I replaced a leaky sending unit, new gas caps, new seals all with mixed results.  The fuel sender was leaking, so that helped, but the gas odor persisted, even getting worse. This morning I noticed a puddle in front of the Baja and spotted gas on the area where the beam mounts. I trimmed off the end of the fuel line and put on a new hose clamp.
