I think I bought these Bosch plugs in August when I bought the bug. Today I got around to replacing them, I mean if the tires were 20 years old, how old can these be? Some info before we proceed(and so I can find it for next time): <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How did I come to those numbers? The Muir book and Bentley book differ with gap and torque. I went with the Muir for both. 15 felt like plenty of torque to me. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So I may have bought both the Snap-On and Hazet spark plug sockets. I used both based on how much room I needed. I did only use the torque wrench with the Snap-On, I think the Hazet would flex, maybe I am overthinking it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I do like this little handle for spinning 3\/8\u201d sockets. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When installing I only used the Hazet, the shape is great for hand tightening. So is the reach. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The driver side plugs were dry, the threads on the passenger side had some fuel on them. Time to look at the carb and maybe the coil. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
