I replaced the coil with a<a href=\"https:\/\/www.jbugs.com\/beru-vw-coil-12-volt-3-ohm-silver-with-bracket-made-in-germany.html\"> Beru 12V made in Germany coil from Jbugs<\/a>. It did kill me to not get the blue Bosch one, but German won out. It was a very easy swap and I guess I&#8217;ll find out if it works.  I did fall to weakness and get a EMPI chrome cover for it, but it is not here yet.
