Well\u2026 I went out for a cruise the day after I installed aux fuel pump<\/a> but it was not to be. I made it 1\/4 mile and the bug died. I was not getting gas to the carb reliably or at all. I checked filters, I finally took the pump out and everything worked.

First I checked multiple points for gas in the line, sometimes it would be there sometimes not. The hose and pump,setup initially was this when it stalled on me. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I then tried a different filter and changing the line, I thought the angle was too steep and either kinking the line or it was too steep to fill up the filter? But that didn\u2019t help I removed it and then everything worked. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a convo with the dogs I swapped in 90\u00b0 NPT connectors, shortened the hoses and it is purring like a cat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I will put in a clamp on the filter when it arrives to secure the filter to the bulkhead. I think I\u2019d need to move the filter closer to the pump and then extend the tank to filter hose. I have to admit, now that it works I don\u2019t really want to change anything!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
