I know, why have a cup holder in a vintage beetle, the factory didn’t have one so maybe you don’t need one. Well I enjoy a soda on my beetle cruise. I saw a bunch of odd contraptions on etsy, and even a few bolt on ones from hot rod shops. Because I was unable to find any good pics, and before shelling out this kind of scratch I would have loved to see some more pics of the Vintage Speed Cup Holder on a VW Beetle.
It is expensive, but it is worth it. When you first are putting it together like an erector set you may be questioning spending all that money. But oh once you attach it, it is a little slice of engineering perfection.
It secures using these threaded posts and becomes rocks solid once all 4 are snugged up.
While pricey, if you can I’d say go for it. It is super nice and like the whole beetle brings a smile to my face when I drive.
