Replacing the Spark Plug Wires

Step 2 on project “Made the Baja Engine Less Red” has commenced. I replaced my plug wires and coil wire with new Pertronix and Taylor wires. Part of this was angle of the coil wire after the coil was relocated. But this is an easy job, just replace one at a time and follow the instructions on cutting a custom wire.

I replaced the coil wire first , The new angle is much better.

Then I literally just took one off at a time and replaced them.

These spark plug wire pliers are a real problem solver, if you see them, I highly recommend picking up a pair.

I have these wire organizers on the tin (that I think are from Vintage VDubs), there were a little tricky to work the wires into, I sprayed some rubbing alcohol on them and it made easy.
