PRP Tilt Seat Part 2

I’ve really liked how my tilt seats worked. So easy to get back to the battery and back seat area. Now I did notice that the passenger PRP seat with quick release pins was resting entirely on the pin. This is probably not bad, they weren’t making noise or anything. But I decided to fix it before it made a problem. I added PETG pads so the seat rests on the pads not the pin. I also replaced the pins with nice ones from Summit Racing.

I first cardboard designed it, but could not get the fit perfect, so I printed four versions wall with slight adjustments.

#1 was the best fit.

After testing a left and right side, I smoothed out the corners and mounted them with a serrated but and bolt.

I swapped the cheap Amazon quick release pins for Allstar Performance 3/8 x 1″ pins because the handle is just nicer to grab.
