I have had an issue where sometimes when I hit the high beam switch the lights go half as bright. I replaced the switch on the floor and it looks like it may have fixed it. I picked up a switch from JBugs and it seems like a nice quality little unit.
It looks quite nice.
The old one in my beetle was just secured to the floor with sheet metal screws, I doubt that is the right way to do it, but easy enough to remove and add back.
As easy as removing some connectors and reattaching. I might go back and use fully insulated connectors to avoid the possibility of shorting out.
Now this is a short post, but I noticed how filthy the Uni filter was so I cleaned and re-oiled that.
