Admittedly I did not need to do this, but I wanted to add a billet alternator to the baja. I went with a CB Performance Pro Billet Kit . It is an easy fix, or should be. Just remove the old alternator pulley, I started by spraying some WD-40 on it and use two pry bars to get the old one off.
After I got the two sides of the pulley off I used this bearing puller to remove last piece of the old one.
I put some grease on the post and threads, then fit the new one on.
I went with this one over the other CB model because it uses stock shims. You add shims to loosen the belt up and remove shims to make it tighter.
Looking good if you ask me.
