When I bought this baja it has nice heavyweight, but too far back hand made seat brackets. One of these days I will get them replaced. But for now, I wanted to add the ability to tilt the seats forward. I bought quick release pins from Amazon. I like it so much I already ordered better ones so I can add them to the driver seat and replace these.

These are pretty nice, seem well made and include a leash, however the handle to pull them out is a little too small when you are pulling on it. Which is why I bought a new set from Summit. That is for later, I replaced the 3/8″ bolts with these.

Then the pins would not fit through, there was a smidge too much paint, nothing the dremel sander couldn’t fix.

Then I secure the leashes to this big hunk of metal on the seat frame.

And it fits perfectly.

Now for the front, I added a think plastic washer on the outside and thick plastic washer on the inside.

So how does it work? It works great.

No shaking or squeaking when driving. I really like how easy it is to get to the battery area and the new tool box. The only problem with these cheap amazon pins is that the part to hold on to is a little small.
