The only relay that exists in my 66 is for the blinkers. I wanted to remove the Arduino I used to fix the indicator, use the LED insert and also put in a relay for the horn and emergency flashers. I added emergency flashers using the sPod, the drawback of that is that every time you start the beetle you have to put the sPod into off road mode for the lights to blink. I don’t want to think about that if I really am in an emergency. I just added a second Novita EP35 LED relay to the party to take care of that. But how can I mount all of that to make it look good? Enter the Bambu Labs A1 printer.
I used Hella relay sockets and crimps, the crimps needed are Hella 701235033, now that being said DO NOT BUY THEM FROM AMAZON! They will ship you one crimp for $20, even though the description says 100. People mentioned that in the comments, but I ignored it, learned a lesson 🙂 I got the pack of 100 from Crimp Supply on eBay. The Hella sockets are neat in that they snap together, you can link together as many as you want. I might add two more so I can use a relay on the headlights.

I think I will not use the screw mounts I printed, rather I’ll just print it the same size as the dash speaker. I’ll use the holes to attach the speaker to attach the larger print.
