Two small jobs this week – putting a gasket on the shift coupler cover and addressing the grounds.
First up, and this is admittedly ridiculous, but I noticed that dust was coming in from the shift coupler cover. And I just painted the battery area, which made it extra noticeable. So I made a little gasket out of a Felpro 3060 kit and we shall see how well it works.

Lets see how it works out.
Next up, after I showed a pic of my cleaned up battery area to my buddy he scoffed that I did not have a better grounding post. Now I think this is fine, but why not do better?

His contention was why not tie the battery ground and sPod ground together. First I just made a jumper.

This terminal crimper from EZ Red is really nice, so much better than the kind you hit wit ha hammer.

But now I don’t particularly love that. I ordered a ground bar from Amazon which was too big. Maybe this round one from Painless Performance would work – https://painlessperformance.com/product/8-point-distribution-block-black-part-no-80115/ ? Or maybe I just leave it alone.
Thanks for reading this far.
