Beetle Books

When you get a beetle everyone says to buy the Muir book and the Bentley manual. Which I think is good advice, from my perspective as a reasonably handy complete automotive novice. But in the last 50 years who knows what was done to your beetle. With my beetle I needed the Bentley manual for my 66, but also the next manual for my 1600 dp super beetle motor. But I also found that they both missed a few things, with that and a trip to ebay I ended up with a few others. And I found the Haynes and the Chiltons had really helpful stuff. Do you need all of these? I don’t know, for me it helps to see pictures and write ups on everything so it is worth it.
