I’ve had a weak horn since I had the beetle and I also wanted to store a spare belt, can of fix a flat and jumper cables up front. So I did a little rearranging.
I mounted a Hella horn in the this area, which I think housed the old brake fluid reservoir.
Then I put two 1″ cleats on the inspection windows to store my spares.
Nice and tidy and using space I was not using before, and maybe it will keep a little cold air out in the winter. I put the horn on a Watson Street Works C4 Relay and cheap Amazon fuse block.
