I picked up this AGM Scissor Jack about 6 months ago and am really happy with it. It works perfectly on a Baja bug. 20″ of lift, fast action and works offroad. It includes a 19mm socket for your drill and 19mm ratcheting wrench if you prefer.
I bought the AGM Scissor Jack Mount, and efter way to much hemming and hawing over where to mount it, I put it on the roof rack. It is solidly built, my only complaint is the strap is thin and the buckle is fidgety. But it held up to 26 miles of offroad yesterday, so that is probably all you need to know.
